Safety
Wren and Willow is located in an independent building nestled between a church and a hobby train shop. The school is easy to navigate in and out of and has it's own dedicated parking lot for your convenience. Wren and Willow uses 24 hour a day monitoring for the safety of our students and staff, as well as a keycode entry system and real time reporting of your child's day.

Wren and Willow Montessori offers a family-like atmosphere that nurtures all aspects of your child's development. With years of education and experience, the teachers of the Willow House and Wren House classrooms offer supportive care, authentic encouragement and a boundless supply of enthusiasm for the love of learning. We are truly a family full of love and cultivate a community of life-long learners.

Communication
We know how important it is for you to feel connected to your child throughout the day. We proudly offer real-time feedback about your child through Brightwheel. Available as an app or through their website, Brightwheel provides pictures, videos, notes, messages and updates instantly to your computer or smartphone. Information is also shared via email, newsletters, classroom bulletin boards, school events and special activities.

What are your hours?Wren and Willow Montessori is open from 7:30am until 5pm with flexible before school and after school care if needed. Half-day, morning class hours are from 7:30am to 12pm and afternoon half-day class hours are 12pm to 5pm.

What ages do you accept?Wren and Willow Montessori has two mixed-age classrooms serving children ages 6-weeks through kindergarten. Children may start their care at six-weeks-old and remain in the Willow House until their third birthday or until they show signs of being ready for the Wren House curriculum. At three-years-old, children will transition to Wren House where they can remain through their kindergarten year.

How are lunch and snacks handled?Lunch is provided for each student from home. The school has ample space to refrigerate lunches and can warm foods as needed at lunchtime. Snacks will be provided by the school and will be nutritional and diverse. We are a peanut free school.

Does my preschooler need to be potty trained?We welcome children at any stage of their potty training experience and will work with parents and other caregivers to ensure consistency for the child.

What does my child need to bring?Students in Willow House need to bring diapers, three sets of clean clothes (more if potty training), pacifiers, bottles, and lunch foods. Toddlers napping on a cot may bring a small blanket and animal or 'lovie', their lunch, and a water bottle. All items must be labeled, including bottles and diapers. Students in Wren House need to bring two changes of labeled clothing, (more if potty training), a water bottle, healthy lunch and may bring small blanket and animal or 'lovie' for naptime. Additionally please bring a bag or small backpack for your child's belongings and ensure that all items are labeled with their name.

Do I need an appointment for a tour?Yes, in order to make sure you have plenty of time to visit and that all your questions can be answered, please schedule a tour of the school. You may schedule by emailing us, calling, or texting.
